The Object Manager, directly to the left of the Library, represents the order in which text, props, and photos are 'stacked' in the work area. Each item in the Project work area is represented in the Object Manager by a thumbnail.

When creating a project that has more than one item (such as text, props, and other photos), it is useful to be able to control the order in which the items appear on the page. This allows text to be placed on top of one photo, while behind another semi-transparent photo, for example. The Object Manager allows the order to be switched at any time.

Changing the stack order

To change the stack order, simply drag and drop the thumbnails up or down the list. The object at the top of the Object Manager is considered to be 'on top' of the other items, while the item at the bottom of the Object Manager is considered to be 'beneath' the other items.
